The Western Michigan Broncos were the class of the conference in 2026, finishing the year on a 10-game winning streak and with a MAC Championship in hand. The Broncos even received votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for their efforts, a validation of their hard work.

The seniors from that class, some of which oversaw a coaching change and the uphill climb to finally get over the hump, took to the turf at WMU's indoor practice facility to make their case to pro scouts in mid-March. In all, 18 former Broncos participated, making it the MAC's largest Pro Day exercise by a significant margin.

For our reports, we’ve pulled raw numbers from both Draft Scout and RAS.football to populate RAS score cards. These cards are used with express written permission of RAS’ creator Kent Lee Platte.

EDGE Nadame Tucker

Elevator Pitch:

A transfer portal success story who earned a starting spot at WMU right away after three years at Houston and two in the JUCO circuit. Compiled 55 tackles, 21 TFLs, 14.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, 16 QB hurries and a pass break-up in 13 games as a Bronco.

Uses combination of quickness and technique to win reps. Exhibits good bend to slip ahead of assignments and get into the backfield. Makes up for lack of size with killer speed, overwhelming matchup with sheer raw speed-to-power skill. Over-relies on the speed at times, allowing him to get caught out and swallowed by better tackles. Doesn't do a good job establishing the edge, and hands are inconsistent. Will have to develop some other counter moves at the next level. A lack of experience (13 games as starter, 25 games overall at FBS level in three seasons) and advanced age (will be 26 at start of NFL season) will limit his ceiling, but could be an immediate contributor on special teams and as subpackage rusher.

Draft Projections:

Measurables (as of Pro Day)

  • Height: six-foot-one
  • Weight: 247 lbs.
  • Arms: 31 and three-eighth inches

DT Marcel Tyler

Elevator Pitch:

JUCO product who spent three seasons with the Broncos. Won starting role in 2025, first on the depth chart at defensive tackle in all 14 contests. Finished campaign with 33 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, two sacks, two PBUs and one each of interception, forced fumble and fumble recovery. Another rush-oriented defensive tackle, Tyler has fantastic speed, agility and explosion relative to his position, but is also undersized and did not have good strength numbers. Could stick it out on a pro roster on special teams or in a pass-rushing role.

Draft Projections:

DB Aaron Wofford

Elevator Pitch:

Four-year contributor for the Broncos who worked way up the depth chart and claimed starting role in 2023 with a 71-tackle, two INT campaign. Played in 50 games with 39 starts at corner. Finishes career with 185 total tackles (including 115 solo stops), 3.5 TFLs, a half-sack, four interceptions, 25 PBUs, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Undersized and slow for pro level, but a hard hitter with good tackling instinct. Could see success as a safety if he bulks up.
