The Bowling Green Falcons will once again get a view of Ol' Rocky Top.

The university announced the addition of Tennessee to their 2029 future non-conference football slate on Friday afternoon via press release, with the game tentatively scheduled for September 15th, 2029.

BGSU is 0-2 all-time against the Volunteers, with the last contest in Knoxville ending in a 38-6 defeat.

As of publication, there is no information for how much the Falcons stand to make from the game– though BG's MAC peer Central Michigan did receive $1.3 million for a similar agreement back in July.

This agreement is BGSU's first confirmed game on their 2029 future schedule. They now have three slots remaining. The 2028 schedule has one vacancy left after the recent addition of South Carolina, while 2030 and 2031 each have three vacancies apiece.

Of intrigue in the contest is the potential for an Eddie George homecoming of sorts. The current Falcons head coach made his home in Nashville for over two decades between his tenure as a halfback for the Tennessee Titans and as a civilian before pivoting to coaching with Tennessee State.
