2026 NFL Draft Pro Day Report: Buffalo Bulls
A dozen former Bulls, including some potential UDFA sleepers, participated in Pro Day workouts this year on UB's campus.
Buffalo was the last MAC program to conduct their Pro Day activities, with 12 former Bulls working out in front of 22 scouts from both the NFL and CFL on March 27th.
For our reports, we’ve pulled raw numbers from both Draft Scout and RAS.football to populate RAS score cards. These cards are used with express written permission of RAS’ creator Kent Lee Platte.
OT Trevor Brock
Elevator Pitch:
Brock was a steady presence on Buffalo’s offensive line the last two years. Made third-team All-MAC in 2024 and first-team All-MAC in 2025. Has the ideal size for the tackle position, but his speed and agility stats could be a source of worry. Nonetheless, his size and experience could land him a rookie camp invite or an extended look in the UFL.
Draft Projections:

DB Solomon Brown
Elevator Pitch:
Brown was an unmistakable presence in coverage for Buffalo over the past two years. Brown broke up 13 passes and intercepted two over the last two years. He also made 122 tackles in that span.
Although listed as a safety on RAS, most of his experience comes from playing nickel at Buffalo. Brown’s versatility is a plus, especially since he may be a bit small to play safety at the next level.

Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: five-foot-ten
- Weight: 196 lbs.
- Arms: 29 and seven-eighths inches

SAF Jonathan Capo
Elevator Pitch:
Capo had a solid career at Buffalo after walking on to the program in 2022. Capo made 37 tackles and notched a 23-yard sack in 44 games, two of which he started. Capo has a similar physique to his counterpart Solomon Brown, so the same size concerns exist.
Capo’s primary contributions came on special teams, where he made a bulk of his tackles. He also blocked a punt against UConn in 2025. His special teams experience could help him break onto a roster at the next level.
Draft Projections:

- Broad jump: ten feet, three inches

Relative Athletic Score: 5.91

OG James Carrington III
Elevator Pitch:
After four years of waiting, Carrington finally got an extended opportunity on the offensive line in 2025. He made seven starts, alternating between guard and center. This versatility will help his chances at the next level. Carrington also played extensively on special teams in 2024.
Draft Projections:
- Lower-level league
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: six-foot-one
- Weight: 283 lbs.

- Bench: 14 reps at 225 lbs.
Relative Athletic Score: 0.87

OG Tyler Doty
Elevator Pitch:
Doty had one of the most remarkable careers of any Buffalo Bulls lineman, starting 47 consecutive games at guard to end his career. Over six years, picked up two third-team and one second-team All-MAC selections along the way.
His efforts earned him a Hula Bowl invite, where he earned high praise from the media and scouts. Doty shed 21 pounds prior to UB's Pro Day and is considered a rising UDFA prospect. His performance at the Hula Bowl and his pro day should garner him a camp invite.
Draft Projections:
- Undrafted free agent/mini-camp invite
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: six-foot-five
- Weight: 314 lbs.
- Arms: 32 and one-half inches
- Hands: 9 and one-quarter inches

LB Mitchell Gonser
Elevator Pitch:
An up-transfer from Ivy League school Harvard, Mitchell Gonser was a contributor at linebacker for the Bulls for his final season of eligibility. Gonser record 70 tackles, six tackles for a loss, and two interceptions in 12 contests (five starts.)
At Harvard, Gonser collected 115 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and earned first team All-Ivy League honors in 2024. While Gonser is undersized, he could make a mark on special teams at the next level.
Draft Projections:
- Lower-league tryout
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: six-feet
- Weight: 236 lbs.
- Arms: 31 and five-eighths inches

- Vertical jump: 26.5 inches
- Broad jump: ten feet, one inch
- Bench: N/A
Relative Athletic Score: 4.39

QB Gunnar Gray
Elevator Pitch:
Gray mostly served as a backup in his two years at Buffalo, but showed solid potential.
Gray appeared in five games in 2025, making one start against UConn. After struggling off the bench against Troy, Gray almost led Buffalo to an upset against the Huskies. Gray served mostly as a game manager, completing 17-of-29 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown in the 20-17 loss. For his career, he completed 33-of- 64 passes for 269 yards, with a 2:3 TD-INT ratio.
Draft Projections:
- Lower-league tryout
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: six-foot-three
- Weight: 211 lbs.
- Arms: 31 and one-quarter inches
- Hands: 8 and one-half inches
Skill Drills (numbers from Pro Day)

- 10-yard split: 1.83 seconds
- 20-yard split: 2.94 seconds
- Shuttle: 4.65 seconds
- Three-cone drill: 7.48 seconds
- Vertical jump: 27 inches
- Broad jump: nine feet, three inches
- Bench: N/A
Relative Athletic Score: 0.99

RB Al-Jay Henderson
Elevator Pitch:
Henderson was one of the best backs in the Group of Five in 2024, rushing for 1,078 yards and earning third-team All-MAC honors. Henderson’s follow-up season was not as impressive. He ran for 755 yards, but added 181 receiving yards. Although his production fell off in 2025, he still has some pro upside.
NFL Network’s Lance Zierlein notes his vision and tackle-breaking ability as strengths. However, he also writes that his acceleration and bursts are concerns. Henderson’s body of work has him projected to at least get a rookie camp invite.
Draft Projections:
- NFL Network's Lance Zierlein: 5.69 prospect rating (bottom-roster candidate)
- Pro Football Focus Predictive Big Board: 355th overall prospect (priority UDFA)
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: five-foot-nine
- Weight: 208 lbs.
- Arms: 31 and three-eighths inches
- Hands: 8 and three-quarters inches

- Three-cone drill: 7.14 seconds
- Vertical jump: 29.5 inches
- Broad jump: nine feet, eight inches
- Bench: 23 reps at 225 lbs.
Relative Athletic Score: 6.21

LB Khalil "Red" Murdock
Elevator Pitch:
Murdock furthered Buffalo’s claim as “Linebacker U” with monster performances in both the 2024 and 2025 campaigns. Murdock burst onto the scene in 2024 with 156 tackles, 16.5 tackles for a loss, and a staggering seven forced fumbles, earning him first-team All-MAC honors.
Murdock maintained this level of play in 2025 and the country took notice. Murdock earned second team All-American honors from the Associated Press, Football Writers of America, and the Walter Camp Foundation in 2025 after a season which totaled 142 tackles, 13.5 tackles-for-loss, and another six forced fumbles. He also earned an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Murdock is best set in the middle of the defense and going downhill due to his "heavy" style of play. Can smack assignments in the run game with effective stopping power and has shown unbelievable playmaking technique at point of contact (set NCAA record for forced fumbles to go with 39.5 career TFLs.)
Weak pass coverage and lack of make-up speed, as well as being one of the older prospects in the draft class, limits Murdock's potential, but he does possess the immediate skillset to be a special teams ace at the pro level.
Murdock projects as a late-round pick with career predictions ranging from career backup to “Robert Spillane 2.0.” Did not participate in agility drills at Pro Day.
Draft Projections:
- NFL Network's Lance Zierlein: 5.87 prospect rating (average backup or special teamer)
- Pro Football Focus Predictive Big Board: 208th overall prospect (late sixth or early seventh round)
- CBS Sports' Michael Renner: 153rd overall prospect (late fourth or early fifth round)
- Saturday Blitz’s Michael Rome: 225th overall prospect (late seventh-round)
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: six-foot-one
- Weight: 232 lbs.
- Arms: 31 inches
- Hands: 10 and three-eighths inches
Skill Drills (numbers from Pro Day)
- 40-yard dash: 4.75 seconds
- 10-yard split: 1.63 seconds
- 20-yard split: 2.63 seconds
- Shuttle: N/A
- Three-cone drill: N/A
- Vertical jump: 31.5 inches
- Broad jump: nine feet, six inches
- Bench: 22 reps at 225 lbs
Relative Athletic Score: 6.81

QB Ta’Quan Roberson
Elevator Pitch:
After a lengthy seven-year college career that saw stops at four different schools, Roberson will finally test the pro waters.
Roberson came into his own as a passer at UB, throwing for over 300-yards three times– the only such outputs of his career. One of those performances was a 403-yard outing in the comeback victory against UMass.
In all, Roberson threw for 2,520 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2025, though he also led the MAC in interceptions (12). Finished career with 4,708 yards, 30 touchdowns and 20 interceptions on a 57 completion percentage.
Roberson is not the most mobile quarterback, rushing for 275 yards on two yards per carry in his career, but can be effective. He has the physical ability, starting his career at Penn State, but his lack of starting experience, as well as accuracy woes, could scare teams away.
Draft Projections:
- Lower league tryout
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: five-foot-eleven
- Weight: 194 lbs.
- Arms: 31 and three-eighths inches
- Hands: 8 and three-quarter inches
Skill Drills (numbers from Pro Day)
- 40-yard dash: 4.82 seconds
- 10-yard split: 1.76 seconds
- 20-yard split: 2.71 seconds
- Shuttle: 4.53 seconds
- Three-cone drill: 7.32 seconds
- Vertical jump: 31.5 inches
- Broad jump: nine feet, seven inches
- Bench: 16 reps at 225 lbs.
Relative Athletic Score: 3.84

LS Carson Selee
Elevator Pitch:
Selee was a quiet, but consistent presence on Buffalo’s special teams units. Selee only had one career tackle in his collegiate career, but snaps the ball very well and has explosive speed and agility for his position. However, his size is a concern for his prospects at the next level.
Draft Projections:
- Lower league tryout
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: five-foot-eleven
- Weight: 194 lbs.
- Arms: 32 and five-eighth inches
- Hands: 9 and one-quarter inches
Skill Drills (numbers from Pro Day)
- 40-yard dash: 4.78 seconds
- 10-yard split: 1.65 seconds
- 20-yard split: 2.75 seconds
- Shuttle: 4.44 seconds

- Vertical jump: 28 inches
- Broad jump: nine feet, six inches
- Bench: 9 reps at 225 lbs.
Relative Athletic Score: 6.44

DE Kobe Stewart
Elevator Pitch:
Stewart was a disruptive pass rusher in his two years at Buffalo after transferring in from FCS Samford. In 2024, Stewart led the MAC in sacks (9.5) and had 12 TFLs, earning him second team All-MAC honors. Defenses keyed in on Stewart in 2025, but he was still effective, hitting a career-high in total tackles (44) while collecting 3.5 sacks and 7.5 TFLs.
Between UB and Samford, Stewart totaled 103 tackles, 15.5 sacks, 19.5 TFLs and two fumble recoveries.
Although his speed is a concern, he has the body of work to earn a rookie camp invite.
Draft Projections:
- Rookie mini-camp invite/lower-league roster
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: six-foot-one
- Weight: 240 lbs.
- Arms: 34 inches
- Hands: 9 and three-quarter inches
Skill Drills (numbers from Pro Day)
- 40-yard dash: 5.12 seconds
- 10-yard split: 1.78 seconds
- 20-yard split: 2.94 seconds
- Shuttle: 4.52 seconds
- Three-cone drill: 7.34 seconds
- Vertical jump: 29.5 inches
- Broad jump: nine feet, six inches
- Bench: 18 reps at 225 lbs.
Relative Athletic Score: 1.22

OC Jake Timm
Elevator Pitch:
Timm adjusted well to the jump in competition after transferring from FCS Long Island. Timm started seven games at center for Buffalo after earning first team all-NEC honors in 2024. Has the ideal size for a center at the professional level, but speed, competition level and lack of starting experience are all concerns.
Draft Projections:
- Lower-league tryout
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: six-foot-three
- Weight: 306 lbs.
- Arms: 32 inches
- Hands: 9 and three-quarter inches

- Three-cone drill: 8.08 seconds
- Vertical jump: 23.5 inches
- Broad jump: eight feet, three inches
- Bench: 23 reps at 225 lbs.
Relative Athletic Score: 1.63

DE Malin White
Elevator Pitch:
Up-transfer from Ivy League's Cornell, who played final two seasons of eligibility with Buffalo.
White benefited from the attention that Kobe Stewart generated on the edge in 2025, finishing with 54 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, and four sacks. This drastically improved on his 2024 campaign, where he had 20 tackles, two TFLs, and a sack.
White collected 106 tackles, 13 TFLs and five sacks in six seasons of play between Cornell and UB.
White could get a shot at special teams at the next level after a decent showing at UB's Pro Day.
Draft Projections:
- Lower-league tryout
Measurables (as of Pro Day)
- Height: six-foot-two
- Weight: 251 lbs.
- Arms: 32 and one-eighth inches
- Hands: 9 and one-quarter inches
