The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

That's a lesson Ohio running back Sieh Bangura learned in his one season with the Minnesota Golden Gophers (four rushes, 12 yards) before transferring back to the Bobcats for his swan song season in 2025.

The move wound up boosting both the team's and his own performance, as Ohio would claw for the MAC title towards the end of the season before finishing 9-4 overall, and Bangura would earn first-team all-MAC honors as a do-it-all halfback.

Now, coming off a season which saw him run for 1,314 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground, Bangura is set to join the Tennessee Titans on a training camp invitation, per Ohio Football.

Over four years with Ohio, Bangura hauled the ball 657 times for 3,374 yards and 37 touchdowns on the ground, while also collecting 63 receptions for 530 yards and three scores, proving to be a dual-threat out of the backfield.

Bangura was the team's leading rusher in every year he was a starter, earning Freshman All-MAC and third-team all-MAC honors in 2022 after rushing for 1,078 yards and 13 scores on the ground.

In his senior campaign, Bangura also picked up special teams duties, with a highlight-reel 97-yard return touchdown against Central Michigan on a slickly-executed fake reverse run.

Bangura leaves Athens third all-time in rushing yards in a season (1,314) and fourth all-time in career rushing touchdowns (37), while also becoming just the fifth Bobcat to ever eclipse 3,000+ yards in a career.

At the pro level, Bangura will show decent size and explosion for the position, but a lack of top speed and lateral agility– combined with sheer amount of use at the college level– will limit his potential. If he can get a little stronger, he could carve out a niche on special teams with upside as a passing-down back thanks to his short-yardage ability and decent hands.
